We always do a site visit prior to quotation to ensure all aspects of access, drainage and existing edging is taken into consideration. We like to discuss your requirements face to face and help to measure your garden as cost effectively as possible.
The cost of our base work is the same regardless of grass choice, this is to ensure that whichever grass you chose your base will drain correctly, never sink or become contaminated from below or the edges. We are proud to say all our bases come with a 15 year limited warranty.
Included
Included in the install price are all materials (as listed below): Labour by expert workmen who hold all relevant CSCS certificates and are enhanced DBS checked. All debris and existing materials removed from site via a skip or ‘muck away’. Due to national price increases in 2022 the cost of a skip or muck away is charged separately at the local rate.

The process
Using a micro-digger the existing surface is removed to a level of 50mm + the height of the chosen grass.
Terram 1000 geotextile weed membrane is laid and a 50mm tanalised frame is constructed. If edging up to a curve or patio a concrete haunch or shelf is put in. MOT Type 1 stone is added and compacted to ensure a level, long term base for the grass.
10mm of sharp sand is added, compacted & screeded to obtain the correct levels.
A second Terram 1000 geotextile weed membrane is laid and secured to the frame.
The grass is laid, tensioned correctly and secured to the frame.
The grass is sand dressed with high quality kiln dried 2EW sand to give the grass a natural look and keep the pile upright. (Trinity grass needs very little infill)
All debris and waste will be removed from site leaving the garden immediately usable.
